Best Western Plus Montreal Downtown- Hotel Europa

I think it was the quietest hotel I've ever stayed in. Maybe I was lucky with the room I was in (228). Large room & bathroom, comfortable bed. Yes, it was dark due to being an inner room, but hey, I'm only there to sleep, and I think that helped with the great sleeps I had whilst there. Position 10/10.

all was good but, I wasn't fussy about the parking. We had to leave the las day 5:30 am and we were supposed to walk a couple of blocks outside to get to the garage. We asked the staff and where told there was no other option. The nights staff, around 11 PM said if we parked on the street then, we should be ok for the morning. That's what we did.

The property is just off St. Catherine street. You are close to everything. 4min walk to Metro/ Airport Shuttle (747) stop/ few extra minutes to University and Montreal Eaton Mall. Whatever you’re looking for in Montreal you won’t find hard time accessing it. That was my experience and it was my first visit. Receptionist asked me if it was my first visit, gave me a map, and marked the hotel, my destinations and other places worth visiting. That was very helpful.

This was my second time staying at this location and I will likely book again in the future. The location is perfect - 2 blocks from the Centre Bell and perfectly situated along public transit routes. The YUL 747 bus stops within 1 block of the hotel so if you're coming by airplane it's very easy to get from the airport to the hotel. The Cora's located in the lobby is great for reasonably priced breakfast and lunch. There are a lot of other great food joints to choose from within a close walking distance. Shoppers drugmart, SQDC, SAQ, Eaton Center all close by. The room itself was clean and spacious. My first time staying there was in a Queen room which was small but perfectly fine for a couple. This time we stayed in a King room and the space difference was substantial. Going forward I would choose a king room over a queen room again simply for the extra space in the bathroom. Staff were kind and knowledgeable throughout our stay.

Great location! Convenient to my conference at the Sheraton, just a minute walk to get there. Room was small but clean and comfortable, included a Keurig with pods and a small fridge. Check out the mexican restaurant next door, delicious! Easy access to the 747 bus route. Highly recommend!
